Security and Confidentiality Statement
Last updated: 5 July 2026
NoonBridge is designed to work with vessel noon reports and related operational data. We understand that report files may contain sensitive fleet, voyage, fuel, ROB, position, weather, port, operational, and commercial information.
This statement explains how NoonBridge approaches confidentiality and security.
NoonBridge is operated by Bobook Limited, company number 785764, registered in Ireland.
1. Customer data ownership
Customers own their uploaded reports, report emails, attachments, extracted data, validation outputs, dashboard data, and exports.
NoonBridge processes customer report data only to provide the service, support pilots, prepare snapshots, improve extraction for that customer, maintain security, and meet legal or contractual obligations.
NoonBridge does not sell customer report data.
NoonBridge does not publish raw customer reports or expose customer report data publicly.
2. Confidential operational data
Noon reports and related vessel data are treated as confidential operational information.
Access is limited to authorised personnel and service providers who need access to operate, support, secure, or improve the service.
3. No crew workflow change required
The NoonBridge MVP workflow is designed around the reports your office already receives.
Crew do not need to install a new onboard app, log into a new crew portal, or change the vessel reporting workflow for the initial email-forwarding workflow.
4. Security measures
NoonBridge uses reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect customer data.
These may include:
- Access controls and least-privilege permissions
- Secure hosting and infrastructure controls
- Encrypted connections where appropriate
- Controlled access to uploaded files and extracted data
- Logging and monitoring for security and reliability
- Backup and recovery procedures
- Internal confidentiality rules
- Vendor/sub-processor review
- Incident response procedures
- Deletion or anonymisation processes where appropriate
5. Sample report handling
When you send sample reports for a Data Readiness Snapshot, you may remove vessel names, commercial references, personal signatures, or sensitive remarks before submission.
Sample reports are used to understand report structure, field layout, extraction feasibility, and data quality risks.
Unless a pilot or customer relationship continues, sample reports should normally be deleted or anonymised within 90 days after the snapshot process, subject to legal, security, backup, or agreed retention requirements.
6. AI, OCR, and automation tools
NoonBridge may use rules-based parsing, OCR, machine learning, or AI-assisted extraction to process report files.
Unless expressly agreed in writing, customer report data is not used to train public or general-purpose AI models.
Where third-party providers are used, NoonBridge aims to select providers and settings that support confidentiality, security, and restricted use of customer data.
7. Current assurance status
NoonBridge is an early-stage platform.
Unless separately stated in a signed agreement, NoonBridge does not currently claim SOC 2, ISO 27001, class society approval, verifier approval, or regulatory authority certification.
Instead, NoonBridge provides a practical data preparation workflow, clear customer data ownership, confidentiality commitments, and a low-risk sample review / pilot approach.
8. Incident response
If NoonBridge becomes aware of a security incident affecting customer data, we will investigate, take reasonable containment and remediation steps, and notify affected customers where required by law or contract.
